About Wolf repair
Why Wolf owners in DFW call the Cowboys
Wolf is the cooking side of the Sub-Zero family: dual-fuel and all-gas ranges, sealed-burner rangetops, wall ovens and induction cooktops built for people who actually cook. Its ranges are heavy, precise and very repairable — igniters, gas valves, convection fans and control boards are all serviceable in place.
Wolf's dual-stacked sealed burners run two flames from one burner — a large upper ring for searing and a small lower ring for simmer — so a weak simmer and a lazy high flame are usually separate faults. Dual-fuel models pair a gas top with an electric convection oven, which lets one visit cover a gas valve and an oven sensor. We read flame and gas supply first, then move on to the oven circuits.

FAQ
Wolf repair — common questions
Why does my Wolf burner simmer fine but struggle on high heat?
On a dual-stacked burner the upper and lower flames come from different port rings. A strong simmer with a poor high flame usually means blocked upper ports, a burner cap sitting off-centre or a valve that is not opening fully — each is checked with the burner lit before anything is replaced.
Can one visit cover both the gas top and the electric oven on a Wolf dual-fuel?
Yes. A dual-fuel range needs both a gas supply and a dedicated electrical circuit, and the technician tests both sides in the same call — burners, igniters and valves on top, then the bake and convection elements, fan and temperature sensor below.
Do you repair Wolf convection steam ovens?
We do. Most steam faults come down to the water side — the reservoir or plumbed supply, the pump, the steam generator and scale left by hard DFW tap water. We check those alongside the convection element and controls, and walk you through the descaling routine once it is working again.
